In 2019, HealthBegins, in partnership with the Nonprofit Finance Fund, and with support from the Commonwealth Fund, began providing trainings and tools to help healthcare and community organizations establish or strengthen partnerships on a sustainable and equitable financial footing. During these trainings, leaders from both kinds of organizations identified one foundational challenge among many: as more resources and tools emerged to support partnerships, contracting, and financial planning, there was no centralized place for leaders to discover and vet them.
This library is that place. In curating the resources in this one-stop shop, we prioritized those that address the financial, operational, and technical aspects of bilateral partnerships and multi-sector coalitions involving healthcare and community-based organizations.
